Hualien 崇徳瑩農場,the Farm is located on the north side of the Lifu River, sandwiched between the Central Mountain Range and the Pacific Ocean, and it is a farm where you can see the mountains and the sea! In addition to the internal lake view and prairie view, it can be said that it can satisfy a variety of landscapes at one time. In the park, there are mammals such as cows, horses, and sheep, as well as birds such as swans, peacocks, and ducks, etc. There is no entrance fee, so it is recommended to take a walk around.

Grazing area

The grazing area is next to the entrance parking lot, and a few steps away from the parking lot is the sheep barn, where you can experience feeding the sheep (you can buy grass for the sheep near the barn), which is an activity that can be easily handled by children.

Even when I don’t have any grass, a few of them come up to me and are so greedy that they try to nibble on my camera…

Behind the sheep house is a large cattle grazing area, the mountains and clouds in the background, and the cattle in the foreground form my favorite picture in this farm.

Before I came here, I heard that this place is like New Zealand, but I think Taiwan has its own unique flavor.

Visitors who set up tents in front of the cattle ranching area to spend the night with the cows～ (You can choose to camp on the grassy field in the park, and grass camping is the least expensive option).

The miniature horses are the pampered guests here, mostly grazing freely outside the fence (the kids should love them too).

Located on the side of the grazing area is a full row of campers.

lake of the heart

The heart lake is one of the special features of this area, which not only adds a different element of lake view to the grassland, but also reflects the magnificence of the central mountain range and the clouds in the sky.

Originally, I wanted to take a rest and enjoy the breeze at the pavilion in the lake, but I realized that it was filled with white ducks, almost all of them were sleeping and I didn’t feel like disturbing them…. So I let them have it.

On the east side of the lake is the ocean view room, the balcony area is facing the lake, and on the back side you can enjoy the Pacific Ocean. In the morning, the dining table on the balcony will not be exposed to the sun, so you can enjoy the heart of the lake and the mountain range in a cool and relaxing way.

On the west side of Heart Lake is a small platform campground, and the price for one night is a little more than the grass campground mentioned earlier, so it depends on whether you want to spend the night by the lake or by the sheep and cattle pastures.

When I came here, it was the time when the Tatewuki River was in flood (Tatewuki River is on the south side of Shinsun Lake), and I could see the Taroko Bridge clearly.

Standing on the bank of Lifu Creek and looking back, you can almost see the distribution of farm campgrounds and suites, including the log cabin at the bottom of the photo.

The wooden hut is inhabited by the same ducks that occupy the gazebo. I think it is probably because it is more breezy outside that they run to compete with humans for space.

After circling around the lake, none of the shots look like love hearts… maybe it’s easier to tell with an aerial camera…

Pacific Coast

The farm is directly next to the Pacific Ocean shore and in front of it is the direction of the Clearwater Bluffs.

There were a few installations for tourists to take photos~, I waited for a long time before I got a chance to take a photo (I only took photos of the installations myself, but not of myself in the mirror).

There is also a Cow Café on the shore that serves drinks and meals, adding to the comfort and convenience of the area.

Next to the cafe, there is also a cute animal area. I only took a picture of a tortoise here, and there are peacocks, ducks and other animals here.

This is the entrance and parking lot (the road is very small, so be careful!). The road is very small, so be careful when driving!

If you just come to feed the animals and take pictures, you can basically finish the tour in two hours – remember to protect yourself from the sun if you don’t have much shade.
