Pingtung Eluanbi lighthouse,Enjoying the sea view on the grassland.
Pingtung Eluanbi lighthouse in Taiwan is located in Gooseberry Park. Not only is there a lighthouse to stroll around, but there are also large areas of grassland, as well as forest trails and sea-viewing platforms, all of which are the top choices for leisure and relaxation. It is highly recommended to plan a half-day trip on the Gooseberry Trail to go trekking in Gooseberry Park.

Eluanbi lighthouse grassland
Upon entering Gooseberry Park, you can see a complete stone path leading to the lighthouse, where most of the crowds gather.

There is a whole prairie beside the road. I have been to Gooseberry Nose many times since I was a kid, but every time I entered, I went straight to the lighthouse, and then returned to leave the place after I reached it… It’s a pity that there are so many beautiful places here. It’s a pity, there are so many beautiful places here.

The grassy areas are lined with stone tables and chairs and surrounded by coconut tree-like plants, perfect for sitting and relaxing in the mornings and at dusk, but you’ll be absolutely scorched by midday ~ (there’s too little shade).

After enjoying taking photos, I would always walk a little bit more to see what I could take photos of. Unlike in the past when I just went home after reaching the lighthouse, I unexpectedly found that there are many prairies nearby which are also very beautiful and worth taking photos of.

There are also many grassy areas in front of the lighthouse, and no tourists are willing to sunbathe in the afternoon when the sun is blazing.

You can also see the ocean from the higher ground, and this direction is looking towards the cat’s nose. These photos are almost all green fields and trees with blue sky and blue ocean, so you can relax a lot!

It’s especially nice at dusk.

Eluanbi lighthouse
This photo is one of my favorites of the trip, the shade of the grass, the large-leafed olive tree on the grass, the lighthouse, the tourists passing by, the blue sky and the white clouds~.

A couple at the back of the Tai Yeh Linn Tree took a photo with the lighthouse.

Ninety percent of the tourists are on the trail in front of the lighthouse, and it only takes about ten minutes to get there from the entrance, so if you just want to take pictures of the lighthouse, it’s only about half an hour’s trip.

I like the idea of incorporating tourists into the images I want to capture, it adds to the story of the image.

The number of times I have come to the lighthouse has been counted on five fingers, the time is different, the weather is different will have a different feeling, in the future to Kenting will still be looking for an opportunity to come in and walk around.

A closer look at the exterior of the lighthouse.

There are always a few dozen or so people lining up in front of the lighthouse to take photos (I went there on a holiday), so I thought I’d ask my friend to take a few photos for me, but I gave up and waited. I just took pictures of the tourists taking pictures!

The photos in this post were taken on the same day, in fact it is very rare to have blue skies and white clouds, because it is the fall raptor crossing season to come, basically the weather is not very good under the northeastern air monsoon.

Eluanbi Trail
Inside the park, there are many forest trails towards the coast, basically there is no sunshine when you walk inside, that afternoon I walked around for more than two hours and still couldn’t walk all the way….

There are so many trees, you can’t see the sun.

On the way, my friend reminded me of the slightest movement in the forest, and this was the first time I photographed a white-nosed civet, which was only about four or five meters away from us, and after a moment of vigilance, he continued to eat his fruit, and I was also eaten by mosquitoes for a few bites.

The video of the white nose eating the fruit is as follows.
There are several platforms along the trail leading to the coast, which gives you the feeling of suddenly seeing the sky again, and your vision is instantly liberated.

Looking back at the trail, uh, can not be seen, all hidden under the trees, after seeing the sea continue to walk in to another pavilion to see the sea ~

Kissing Stone, this is the way to another sea-viewing platform (Chang Hai Pavilion), there will be signs and maps for you to see, so you won’t get lost.

After passing the Kissing Stone, you can walk up the road a little bit to the Pavilion of Chang Hai.

The goose nose of the forest trail is the first time to come, the vicissitudes of the sea pavilion is the last stop, you can clearly see the cat’s nose, but also be able to watch the sunset, 4:30 or so in the afternoon in the fall, when the sea has a slight golden luster, I did not wait until the sunset, wearing sunglasses to go to do not want to go walking in the dark in the woods ~!
