Tainan Koelreuteria elegans,A trail under the colorful autumn.
Autumn is the time for the blossoming of Tainan’s Koelreuteria elegans, which is like a colorful world, very eye-catching. In Tainan’s Shan Hai Canal Greenway, there is a section of the trail planted with Mistletoe trees, which has changed from a green tunnel in summer to a colorful tunnel, which is located in Shan Hua’s Jabai area, and it is a good spot for a walk under the trees to enjoy the scenery of the youth.

Shanhaizhen Greenway is mainly along the Canaan Canal all the way to the southwest, which in the eggplant this section is full of Taiwan Mistletoe trees, autumn here is really beautiful, at first do not know where to google navigation Shanhaizhen will take you to Annan District, and later found that the Shanhaizhen sea is very long, here is in Shanhua ~ the last I will attach a map.
The greenway is a well-planned asphalt road, suitable for bicycling, with a tunnel made of trees to provide shade, making it comfortable to walk, and with the wind blowing, leaves and flowers falling down from time to time.
The following two photos were taken next to the JiaBeiLi Community Elderly Activity Center, where there is a small park-like area, and the Taiwanese Mistletoe tree can be photographed from the side to show its full color. You will notice that the two photos above were taken inside the tunnel, and you can see fewer blossoms because most of the flowers and capsules are on the surface of the tree, and most of them will be blocked by the leaves if you look at it from the inside.
You can also take pictures of the colors of the trees on the bridge, so look for the bends in the canals. However, the bridge is not very big and there are cars passing by, so you need to pay attention to safety when taking photos!
Like the tree on the left, the front of the tree was empty, so I was able to capture the flowers and capsules growing outwards.
It is almost always the elderly who walk here on non-holiday days.
Nearby is the Kappa Elementary School, so these little windmills must be the work of those children! I found a mother and daughter leaning together to take a picture of a mallow tree, a very cozy picture, I wanted to focus on them to capture this moment, such a warm backdrop, but unfortunately they left the next second and didn’t get the picture.
These are the small yellow flowers of the Mistletoe.
After blooming, it will turn into a capsule, which will be greenish at first and then turn reddish, and then brownish and withered as time goes by, so with the original green leaves, it makes this season’s mallow trees colorful and colorful, like a colorful world.
Approaching the grass near the trail and took this picture, I found that there will be red tsubo, and then I found out that they will be attracted by the falling flowers and fruits, and those who are afraid of insects don’t need to worry about it, you don’t disturb him, and he is also peaceful to stay, where there are no insects outdoors!
Google Map:
I parked near the Elementary School, which is right across the street from the trail, so the neighborhood is pretty good for parking.
