In addition to the New Taipei Shifen Waterfall Park, there is also a smaller Mirror Hole Waterfall in the park, and May is a good time to see it, as it is the season of the flowering of the oil tree, which is like the snow in May ～There are several viewing platforms in the park for viewing the waterfalls, which are not only visually pleasing, but also healing to enjoy the sound of the flowing water quietly!

Sikwangtan Suspension Bridge and Riverside Trail(四廣潭吊橋、河畔步道)

The Sigwangdam Suspension Bridge is the first suspension bridge seen from the Visitor Center, and there are two suspension bridges in the Ten Falls Park.

The section between the two suspension bridges is a riverside path, a comfortable flat asphalt section, close to the Keelung River, soon you can see the elevated railroad tracks, behind the railroad tracks is another suspension bridge, in the photo it looks like someone is walking on the railroad tracks, but in fact, they are walking on the suspension bridge at the back.

Below the second suspension bridge (Waterfall Viewing Bridge) is another waterfall besides the Ten Tenths Falls, the Mirror Hole Falls, which flows under the forest and is much smaller than this one.

Watch waterfall Bridge（觀瀑吊橋）

This photo was taken after walking back from the waterfall suspension bridge, the road on the left is the railroad track, the bottom right of the photo is the Mirror Cave Falls, and the photo of the waterfall above was taken from the middle staircase.

When you arrive here, you can see the blooming of oleander. I came here at the end of April, and April and May are the seasons for oleander.

I waited for a while to take a picture of the train passing by, but when I gave up, I heard the sound after I walked down the stairs and ran up to take a picture, but in the end, I only managed to capture a little bit of the rear of the train.

Watch waterfall Area（觀瀑核心區）

There are souvenirs and Chinese food for sale here. I waited for the afternoon to finish my photo shoot before I went here to have my meal.

There are a lot of oleander flowers blooming in this area, but it was raining recently when I came here, and a lot of them were knocked down to the ground. Originally, I just wanted to see the waterfall, but I didn’t realize that there were oleander flowers here, and I was very lucky that it was the right time of the year for the blossoms to bloom~!

I came across a Bird of Paradise, I didn’t bring my bird camera with me, but it was resting on a tree very close to me, probably taking a break from the rain.

This is the waterfall viewing platform 4 in the guidebook, right in front of the stalls, closest to the waterfall, and you can hear the sound of falling water very clearly.

Walking up to the nearby higher ground and shooting down, you can have a better view.

Shifen Waterfall Observation Deck（十分瀑布觀景臺）

From the waterfall viewing trail in the park, you can walk to the observation deck facing the waterfall. There are many observation decks, and all of them have a full view of the waterfall, which is really spectacular!

The short trail on the way back was built on a green mountain wall, which was covered with moss or parasitic plants due to the abundant water, and I really liked this side of the wall.
